Our journey into the manufacture of complex fabrications started when our founder, Eric Shen, started making automotive lifts back in 1999. As a result of his unique insight and strong value proposition, his automotive lift company took off and became one of the biggest in the United States. It was sold off to Dover Corporation's Rotary Lift in 2006. After Dover's purchase of the automotive lift division, a portion of the manufacturing facility, not making lifts, remained under the founder's ownership and was spun off to create Direct Industrial Products. Today, we provide components for a vast variety of customers and applications (many Fortune 500 companies included among them).
